18 Remarkable Years As Your Agent

Real Estate

March 2006 was when I started in real estate. It was a part time job for me, working between an 8-hour shift with an airline company as executive assistant and with Century 21 Express, as a real estate agent, showing homes to eager first time homebuyers. Little did I know that what I had planned to be a part-time job would end up being a full time career in the complicated world of real estate.

Real estate is a never ending cycle of movement of people chasing the American dream of homeownership, of life changing decisions of moving from one home to the next, of being in a rental to a primary home, of buying and selling a single to multiple investments, of relocating from one state to the next. It is a wonderful opportunity of meeting and helping people and of being honed into deeper relationships of camaraderie, trust and compassion brought about by the intricacies of being one as a team with a seller and/or a homebuyer. Real estate agents, I believe, are first and foremost advocates for what is best, what is just and what is fair for clients.

Real estate changed my life as I excitedly and nervously helped people change theirs and their family's. My clients have taught me how to be a dedicated real estate agent serving and joining them in their real estate journey of selling and buying a home. Through the experience I have gained, I developed a deep understanding of people, their different  personalities and I have seen the inherent goodness in every person I meet and work with. Thank you to my clients' high expectations of me, I have learned to improve my skills and be an expert with the local market and develop a passion for helping my clients in finding  their dream homes and in selling their homes to chase another dream. I taught myself to be well-versed with unique neighborhoods, market trends, and investment opportunities that Las Vegas has to offer, to make myself worthy of my clients' trust and confidence. I joined conferences, networking events, trainings with the Mike Ferry organization and the Americana Sales team. Training hard and diligently, working with first-time homebuyers, home sellers, seasoned investors was transformative for me. I became better as a person, a professional that have grown more mature, more skilled and more knowledgeable. I started earning a living, helping my husband provide for our selves and our family.

And boy did I love it!

I am fortunate that this is the career that I chose. It  has become an integral part of me. When I traveled abroad, I went to the Century 21 offices in Beijing to meet and learn from their top agents and management. I met with agents and brokers at the Century 21 offices in Barcelona and Madrid. In my travels I endeavored to learn about other agents' success picked up their recipes for success while I humbly shared mine. My trips to these offices and meetings with these delightfully accomplished hardworking agents were all a fruitful experience.

I am not stopping this journey. I look forward to more challenging years with you my clients. You make my life exciting and fulfilling. My family and myself are grateful for the 18 years you have allowed me to be your agent.
